Song Parody

A Whole New World

To the tune of A Whole New World from Disney’s Aladdin.

Ron: I can show you the world
Away from homework and papers.
Hermione Granger, now when did
You last let your heart decide?

I can open your eyes,
Take you wonder by wonder,
Over sideways and under
On a magic broomstick ride.

A whole new world,
A new fantastic point of view
When you won’t tell us not
To have some fun
Or say we should be working.

Hermione:
A whole new world?
When we have N.E.W.T.s tomorrow, Ron?
But when I’m way up here
I want to be
Forever in this whole new world with you.
Ron: Now I’m in a whole new world with you.

Hermione:
Unbelievable thoughts,
Indescribable feelings
When you understand something new
And receive perfect marks

H: A whole new world
R: Don’t you dare crack a book
H: A hundred thousand things to read
R: I refuse homework planners
H: I am a genius here.
I can’t lose that.
I must go back to my library.

R: A whole new world
H: Yes, it’s fun, but I can’t.
R: Feel the wind rush through your hair.
H: Every moment I study.
Both: Listen to me for once.
No time to waste!
Let me share this whole new world with you.

Ron: A whole new world (Hermione echoes)
Ron: It’s what you need (Hermione echoes)
Ron: A thrilling chase
Hermione: A study place
Both: For you and me.

(Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban)

Hermione: (after Hagrid gives Ron Scabbers back) I think you owe someone an apology.

Ron: Right. Next time I see Crookshanks, I’ll let him know.

Hermione: (annoyed) I meant me!

Notes

It’s ‘Merry Christmas’ not ‘Happy Holidays’.

“The only real blind person at Christmas-time is he who has no Christmas in his heart.”
-Helen Keller

Merry Christmas to you all! Happy Birthday to our Brother in Heaven, Jesus!

It is said that we should greet people with “Merry Christmas” not “Happy Holidays”. For, If we greet them “Happy Holidays”, this means that we only treasure the holiday but not the Child’s Birth. If we said “Merry Christmas”, we are more on to Christ’s Birthday.

Enjoy this Christmas and Have A Blessed New Year!
